Hotel mit Karakter.
Very pleasant mexican style hotel in the heart of the historic district. Friendly and efficient staff that is open to your wishes. Their English is excellent, as other guests informed me. I used only Spanish. The lobby café serves a good choice of snacks and drinks, including beer, to enjoy there or take to the room. Complementary! The room was small, but very tasteful in Mexican style. All modern conveniences were there. Excellent bed and sound insulation. air conditioning was only used at night, because it worked very fast and could be set to your desired temperature. No complaints about the bathroom. Enough outlets, but only two that take European plugs.
Beautiful balcony on the top for breakfast, lunch, cocktails, dinner. Open or covered. Good choice of buffet or ordered breakfast, mainly Mexican. Europeans can enjoy coffee, if they order non-american. If you come unprepared, the concierges will help you with excursions and restaurants or any other reservations and arrange them for you.
If you are looking for a good hotel in the old historic district that is not like a hotel in any other major city in the world, this is the place for you.
