Nicely decorated hotel very closely to the Zócalo. Clean rooms, VERY hard beds, fast Wi-Fi, room claimed to have A/C, but didn't. Breakfast is always included (there's some cereal, toast with sweet stuff and tortillas with salsa), free apples/bananas, low water pressure in the shower. Staff only speaks Spanish (except for one person apparently, but she's rarely there). When we arrived the first day and only wanted to sleep after sickness and an overnight bus, the cleaning staff was very insistent, knocking on the door repeatedly, followed by the reception desk calling us several times to ask if we really didn't want the room cleaned (that we had entered only hours previously).
In the lobby, a tour company offers guided tours - note that even though they claim they are in English, too, it's all just Spanish (except for some local guides at the sites).
