I had a good stay here, though there were a few things I believe could be improved. First, I want to acknowledge the amazing cleaning and breakfast staff—everyone was very humble and accommodating during my stay.
I arrived about an hour before check-in time and, when I walked in, I believe I went straight to the manager. It took a moment for her to acknowledge me, and when she did, I mentioned I had a reservation. I understood she was busy with paperwork, so I didn’t want to interrupt. Since I had been driving all day and was tired, I was hoping to check in early if possible. She told me they didn’t have any rooms available yet because the hotel was busy. I said no problem and thanked her, then left to return later. She didn’t offer any further assistance or conversation at that time.
When I came back at check-in time, someone else greeted me, and the experience felt much more welcoming, which was what I expected when checking into a hotel.
Once I checked in, I noticed the room had a very humid smell, almost like it had been vacant for a while. To fix this, I bought Febreze to help with the odor. I was a little surprised, especially after being told earlier there were no rooms available. The next day, I tested the situation by waiting for room service. When I returned later, the smell was significantly better, so I’m assuming the cleaning crew had addressed it, and they did an excellent job.
