i've booked 5 nights (Jan 27 to 31) with splitted booking. Expedia dealing that time "executive suite". So, on my "request" i've mentioned to them that "i am looking forward to have that room i book "which shown on expedia website" When we got there, the receptionist treid to give us standard room with the argument that "expedia dealing the wrong accumodation for such price" and i argued with her that they suppose to monitor the Expedia to clarify, which room and in which price is being deal and not suppose to accept the booking of us. Otherwise, it seems like scamming online clients and that would be bad for Al Maha Hotel. But thanks to this Nepali Receptionist, she dealed the things with politeness.
So, finaly we could stay in Suite 4. It was around 15:00 o'clock. In the room we heared such noise, we thought it's renovation upstair but it was a Gym over us. And this issue was continue until early in the morning. Though we called the night crew. The next day the manager came over to us and he apologized about what was happened. They brought us to Suite 3 (with a plate of fruit on the sitiing table) up then myself and my Fiance we felt well. We would like to thanks here the whole Al Maha Team for thier effort to make our stay comfortable.
