Nice hotel, price, worth for Sofia really good, located in the centre, near subway (approx. 500 meter), going on foot to Vitosha Boulvevard (10 minutes) and you've all the nice restaurants (out- or indoor) in the pedestrian zone. I've paid € 32 per night, cheaper than direct booking. Take care if you're stranger in Sofia arriving at the airport. Taxi drivers are crazy (starting at € 60 !!! for a single ride to the center, going donw max to € 20,-, which is even 4 times the amount should be paid). At airport you don't get any taxi willing to use the taxmeter! Take the bus 384 to the subway or 84 the the university Sofia). There take a taxi. Drivers in teh city which do not speak English (not used to scam tourists) normally use the taxmeter. Just print out your destination at Google maps and have it wiht you for orientation for the taxi driver (Google give it to you/print-out in latin alphabet, taxi driever is used kyrillian alphabet. So it's a bit tricky, but be relaxed, Bulgarians are really friendly and helpful.) If you've gotten an honest driver, give him double the amount of the meter, it's cheap for you anyway! And show them that honesty pays. Both of you will be satisfied).
