I tried to cancel my reservation, made with Hotels.com, as my work appointment was cancelled.
Hotels.com correctly replied that they would ask the hotel if it was possible not to apply the penalty, equal to the cost of the reservation.
The hotel refused and, even after a phone call, they were of no help.
I lost my money and the hotel cannot claim that it was for Hotels.com responsibility.
I will have to return to Venice, mainly for work, but I will certainly avoid this hotel.
Zero unfortunately is not possible...
