We were travelling in Costa Rica for 3 weeks - every 2 days in a low budget accommodation. We don't mind simple rooms, but this was the most dissappointing experience. since this was not lovely at all. Walls were empty - why don't they have even (cheap) hooks on the wall or a shelf to put things. There was a small table - that was all. We had to put all our things on the floor. We also used the hooks in the bathroom. But the room was so small that everything fell down when using the toilet. Also seems that the washbasin was broken from the wall once. It was fixed again, but still so askew that water remains in it. With some little things it could be so much nicer. This is at leased what we experienced in other (even smaller, more basic) accomodations.
