Did not get what we booked and paid for!
Be VERY CAREFUL with USP Suites at Shell Residences. We did not get what we paid for, not even after complaining. We have chosen this appartmenthotel because of its location right opposite of the Mall of Asia (MOA), one of the 10 biggest shopping malls in the world. We have booked a room with balcony towards the pool on the inside of the apartment complex. When we arrived we have been taken to a room without balcony and view to the junkyard on the backside of the complex. We complained and were told to wait in the room while the lady wanted to check with the office. Almost an hour later I called the reception and asked for an answer. They said that they will inform the office and we should wait. After more than an hour total waiting time the lady came back and said that they found another room for us. We were brought to another room in an another part of the building. The room had a balcony with view to the pool, but the equipment in the room was completely different from the fotos on the booking website. I assume the room was much older and of a much lower category. Half of the equipment was missing and many things (e.g. the wardrobe and sofa) were broken. According to the description on the booking website and according to the confirmation by email we should have had a washing machine in the room which was no present. Many other small things were also missing. Since we were tired of arguing and we planned anyway only to sleep there we stayed in the room. Never again!!
