Noisiest hotel room ever
Our hotel stay started with the lady being on the phone the whole time and then after a bit of waiting she checked us in and later told us the wrong breakfast time, namely that breakfast was served until 10am. Breakfast is only served until 9am during the week. We were downstairs the next morning at 9:20 and of course there was nothing left to eat.
The worst thing of all was the extreme noise in the evenings and nights. The house is on a busy road. And despite the fact that our room faced the side street (not the main street) I could hear the street noise even with earplugs. Btw now we know why the hotel provided earplugs on your nightstand. This was the loudest hotel we have ever slept in in our entire lives. We have often slept in a hotel next to the highway but it was much quieter there. The service was not so nice. After the first night there was no room service and we had to go down to reception in the evening to get towels. We assumed that this would come daily. What was also very bad was the television. It kept freezing so you had to keep changing channels to get it to work at all. We found it very good and positive that the room had a small kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge with freezer and microwave. The hotel also provided a small dishwashing liquid and a sponge that you could use to clean the dishes. Overall we would never come back again because of that noise.
