Picked up by Jacob at the Seronera Airstrip, where he provided a lunch for us after long travels. If you've never stayed at a Four Seasons before, it can be astounding at first that everyone seemingly knows your name wherever you go in the resort.
Upon checking in, we were informed that we were upgraded to a suite for free! The suite was immaculate -- it had a front room and bathroom, large master bedroom and master bath/closet, as well as a soaker pool and lounge area on the deck.
We got multiple Kifaa massages at the Spa during our stay which were fantastic, especially after all that travel. The highlight of the trip is obviously the location -- we took 2 half-day game drives, a full day game drive, a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and a drive to the Olduvai Gorge with our guide Jacob. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and knew the area very well to take us to see some amazing things (we saw all of the Big 5 and anything else you can think of out there). The land rovers were very comfortable, had several USB outlets to charge our devices, and came stocked with drinks and lunch (for the full-day drives). The wifi at the resort was also excellent, which was impressive considering the location. He took us to a Masai Boma as well, which was very fascinating. One of the days we took a beautiful sunrise Hot Air Balloon Safari. Additionally, one of the evenings the GM Martin invited us to a private dinner in the wine cellar, which was very thoughtful.
