This stay left a lot to be desired.
Pros: The room felt homey and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Minimal hospitality and customer service, especially considering the price. The office is only open 8a-8p, so if you need something outside of those hours, you’re SOL. That also meant the coffee bar was only open during those hours as well, so if you are an early riser, plan on having to leave the property to find coffee and breakfast. The place needs some basic maintenance — e.g. this place does not have key cards, they have actual keys — the key barely worked in the door so we had to jiggle our doorknob pretty violently every time we wanted to unlock the door, and forget about locking the deadbolt from the outside; the sink in the bathroom desperately needs unclogged; the fireplace was nice, but always emits an ambient heat even when it is “off”, which made it harder to cool the room. They did not offer a mid-stay room cleaning, so if you wanted your trash removed, guests were instructed to leave it outside their door (tripping hazard).
Would not stay here again. I have had better experiences in lower rated, less expensive hotels.
