The gentlemen at the check-in desk was very nice but extremely chaotic and stressed (he was alone and a many people wanted something from him). Apart from him, however, the staff was rather impolite. We paid 150 Shekel for dinner in the hotel's restaurant, which is not really cheap for Israel, but at first the waiters ignored us. When we wanted to sit down at a table one of them snapped at us in passing something incomprehensible and took ages to come back in order to attend to us. The food was a buffet with local dishes which was really good! But at first there were no plates left and we had to stand and wait for them for a pretty long time.
To be honest, I felt very uncomfortable during this dinner, since I felt like the staff was already pretty much fat up with the guests in the evening. Breakfast was similar awkward, but the varieties of food was excellent. My check-out was done by a lady, who seemed very annoyed, since something did not work as she wanted to. Again she did not explain anything to me but snapped I should give her my credit card, then she gave it back without saying anything, then she requested it again, gave it back without looking at me and so on...till the system apparently worked.
In sum food was really good, the rooms are ok, the location is great, but the staff in general is rather rude and does not explain anything to you. Since I have been travelling Israel for a couple of days, I can definitely say that this hotel is an unpleasant exception to al
