Front desk sign states rooms are cleaned on request or every 3 nights in longer stays.
Based on the 3rd night cleaning, our room was ready for cleaning after the 3rd night, but our room was untouched.
After no cleaning, we went to the front desk for supplies. Front desk clerk said that is incorrect and rooms are cleaned only upon request. Based on this we did not communicate to the staff that we didn't want our room cleaned.
The day after our 4th night, we returned to a room that was changed, since cleaned is not the right word. Our newly used towels were all gone and not replaced, dirty washcloths were still in shower, our partially used soap bar was taken and replaced with a new one, our A/C was off, window open, refrigerator setting changed (not sure if that was us or staff), beds were re-made (most likely with our old sheets) with sheets a top layer and blanket/comforter as bottom layer (touching skin), no horizontal were dusted, trashcans that we emptied the night before were emptied again with minimal trash in them.
We asked for new towels to replace the 5 other new towels that were taken above, we were inform by the front desk that they were running low on towels and only given 2.
High pool Cl levels destroyed 3 girls' hair. Multiple washes and hours of haircare didn't help. On second days wash, hair was slightly better, still very damaged. Our showered kids smelled like Cl the whole next day. We stopped using pool.
