The hotel denied booking made through Expedia.co.in. The front office person (Mr.Vicky) said the hotel has terminated the contract with Expedia and is no longer accepting its reservations. When I called the hotel to inform my arrival on my check-in date, the hotel person said this. Without a choice, I had to bargain with him and book offline a smaller sized room at a higher price. The hotel person took the payment through Gpay and denied card payments. I'm doubtful whether hotel (or the front office person) intentionally did this to avoid lesser payment (my original booking amount) from Expedia and instead opted for an offline payment. Travelling as family, I did not have an option at the last minute to go search for another one. Expedia - I still see this hotel on your booking charts. Please reach out to to the hotel and sort this out. Regarding the stay, the hotel is a new one hence the amenities are fine. Has a restaurant that runs on weekends, limited food choices at a reasonable price. No dedicated parking, instead the hotel is on a dead-end hence a few cars can be parked on the lane. The hotel is 15m walk away from Serenity beach.
