This is the most amazing hotel and I can’t wait to return. It was just 10 minutes from the airport. We took advantage of the hotel shuttle. The breakfast was fantastic and you got the chance to try food that you wouldn’t normally eat. This was the highlight of my day. The staff were so lovely yet very professional. They seemed to work all day long. I just wish they had worn name badges because it was difficult to recognise them wearing their masks. The staff were great at controlling the sunbed area and would remove towels if left by people. I only wish more hotels did this. The location was brilliant. Literally 20 steps from the Caldera sunset views and the centre of all the action. Bars were literally on the doorstep but located at the start so it was away from any noise (save for the cathedral bells on Sunday). We loved Iriana and The Vine which are opposite each other on the main stretch next to the big white church. It was great having a cocktail and watching the sunset in each bar. The staff in both bars were lovely. The only pieces of constructive criticism I would give is that there is a lack of drawer space in the rooms. Although there is plenty of hanging space there were not enough hangers. There was nowhere to put your underwear or costumes etc. Also, the doors slam shut which often disturbed your sleep. I know the hotel can’t be responsible for disrespectful guests. All that said I would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel is amazing. Perfect location. We had a Jnr suite With private pool access. Would recommend for extra luxury. Breakfast was served at the table instead of buffet due to Covid restrictions. Different and varied every day. All were delicious And wonderfully presented also a great chance to try some Greek dishes. No views but sunset within a few steps. All staff were very attentive and lovely. Will definitely return.
What an amazing hotel. Perfect location for the Caldera, local shops, restaurants, bars and the bus station. Lovely pool and atmosphere to the hotel. Breakfast of the kings! The staff are fab and friendly. Rooms great. If we went back to Santorini we would definitely stay again.
Lovely pool with sun beds. Great location and easy to walk into town. We are glad we based ourselves here
Recommend highly! Great hotel and brilliant staff
This was my 3rd time staying at the hotel and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the hotel and staff. The Aressana is my go to place to stay in Santorini. Centrally located to the Caldera and amazing spa. Special thanks to our bartender Kostadinio and our waiter Thanatos for the great service. You won’t be disipointed staying here on your next trip to Santorini 🇬🇷🍷
Excellent hospitality! The pool area and breakfast are top-notch 👍 We had some issues with the booking but Anna and the reservation team resolved it promptly, which was greatly appreciated. Yannis at the restaurant is also excellent so don't forget to check it out! The location of the hotel is so convenient that walking to the main street or bus terminal only take few minutes.
Very beautiful property and in a great location. It is located right at the beginning of all the shops and the walk. The property is very well maintained, the food is good and we had a massage at their spa. We did not get our room upgrade however, but loved the room we did have with a semi-private pool.
Location is great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool. Room is decent Bathroom is a bit small.
The only thing that this hotel has going for it is that it’s in a good location. Otherwise, there is nothing luxurious about this hotel. It also does not live up to the other Expedia VIP hotels. The walls are PAPER thin and there are no anti-slam mechanisms on the door so. As a result, you can hear people in other rooms, in the hallway, and doors are constantly slamming. The amenities were lacking - the tv did not work and the hotel couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Battery in scale was dead. As a VIP member you get (1) breakfast (which is already included so not sure what the benefit there is); (2) a bottle of wine (it’s actually closer to half a bottle of wine); and (3) spa credit (never offered to me). Allegedly no upgrades were available and no credit offered or alternative benefit given. Overall very bad hotel and would not recommend it.
