We were super excited for our christmas vacation, and it didn't take long to ruin it. When I made the reservations, I booked for luxury suite with partial ocean view, and when I checked in, they 'upgraded' our room, which had no views, dirty, very bad odor, and noisy from the engine room. We were so disappointed with everything, and we asked to see if there's any other options but weren't very helpful. In fact, they told me that the engine room would be shut off during the nighttime, which was not true at all and it ran all night long. It was too late so we stayed for a night. The next morning, we found cockroach in the room as well. I complained and asked to transfer to another property, and they finally offered to move to Blanco, which is right next to the Rose. Thankfully, the room situation was better than our initial room, but still, it was below our expectations. My wife found another cockroach that was as big as my thumb and it was terrifying.
Once we transferred, no one could figure out how to transfer the account on the app so we couldn't use the app which was very inconvenient. I had to call or go to the lobby to request instead of using the app the whole time.
Overall restaurant staff were pretty nice and foods were good at few restaurants.
Offering the shuttle service to the Sunset was nice and we went there couple times to enjoy the facility.
Would I go back or recommend to someone? I don't think so.
