The front desk staff was average to poor. I had to call three times to talk to someone about getting some more pillows.
I asked for a comb, I had forgotten mine and was reminded that they were offered for free by the hotel, so when I finally got through to someone I asked it the housekeeping team could bring it up with the pillows, and was told no I would have to go to the front desk to pick one up.
We took a cruise and started at the hotel the night before and ended up back at the hotel when we came back from the cruise. Well the cruise wants you off the ship by 9am and we were staying the day in Fort Lauderdale and wanted to check in to the hotel early, they flat out said no, we would have to wait until after 3pm. They did let us stow our gear at the hotel which was helpful.
We then asked what there was to do locally and they had no suggestions for us, they didn't even have a selection of brochures for activities as most other hotels usually have.
The room had some issues; the bed was so soft that you felt that you were sleeping in a hole after 5 minutes. The tile floors in the bath were so slippery when wet that it was kinda scary
The highpoint was that the Housekeeping team was very considerate.
