Small rooms no sauna/pool. No coffee machine in the room. For me not a 5 star. Very expensive for what u get.we used the facilities at the university club across the street since the hotel has nothing itself: dirty and smelly. Awful is the only term that fits here. That is not really a five star experience. Staff nice and friendly. Service: found a half empty mini bar which was never restored. The ice bucket was full with smelly water. Never had ice in there and second day just vanished. Was taken out. A normal little bar. The Restaurant was ok, but also expensive, had breakfast and they do a la carte. A pot of regular Coffee for us two was $ 24!
Overall the location is nice! Few blocks from the white house.
Iwe payed $550 a night and if you dont expect a 5 star experience for that then its fine.
First room for that money on the 2. floor next to elevator. Tiny window. Asked for a change. They put us in that room and let us wait 15 min to change to floor 6. where we had a better window. Aircon old and noisy.
I wouldn't return for the value u get for ur money.
There are many alternatives.
