The hotel is a landmark and visible far. The lobby is luxurious. There was live music by a talented duo playing in the evening I stayed there. Breakfast is very good. The main drawback is that the hotel is somewhat tedious to reach if not taking a taxi. One can walk from a nearby metro station but there is a steep hill to climb. There are also free shuttle busses, from one metro stop on weekdays and two stops during the weekend. Unfortunately, there is no publicly accessible floor from which to enjoy the views. The room I had did not have any window, but this was clearly marked already when I reserved it, so nothing to complain on it. The hotel has hosted a number of prominent guests, including US presidents, Nelson Mandela, prime ministers, kings and movie stars.
