The hotel is in a "neuralgic" zone of DownTown Vancouver. Very central and somehow close to everything. Nelson is a pretty "calm" street. On Granville there s a lot more activity, although I didn't really like it at night.
The hotel has a pub downstairs with good beers and food. Shame that there are no discounts for people staying at the hotel, though (only one welcome drink per person per stay).
There is also a club, "The basement", but you need to go throughout the queue outside even as a hotel guest (there is a direct access from the inside...)
Anyway, the rooms were clean, big enough imho, and everybody was professional/friendly enough. I'd go there again.
Only negative point: don't know if that affects all the rooms but I could hear the neighboring room a lot. He had a phone call on loudspeakers at 4 in the morning and that woke me up...
