Stay as far as you can / muy malo!!!!!
This was the worse stay ever…
It started with a very difficult and long check-in which took as more than an hour after a long travel with a toddler. They had 0 control and excused themself for a law change some days ago.
That would be understandable but not justify why they booked us onto a floor which was under heavy constructions (please see pictures attached). It was super dirty and duty everywhere and on a long weekend following an official bank holiday (!) we got woken up on a Saturday early morning due to hammering and heave screwing. Wanted to avoid firstly that all our plans for the day get districted by the lack of sleep we and especially our toddler suffered, so called the reception for help. They responded that the facility manager is non-reachable and they are not entitled to make the workers stop so it simply continued like that and crushed us and our plans in Madrid completely up….
The floor is made from stone and super cold - don’t understand why they are not providing any slippers + there wasn’t any carpet in our room at all. The neighbor room in the same class had for example one, so it seems they forgot in this one which lead to further inconvenience since we ended up with a huge cold after the stay and do need medication until now.
The room was also very dirty and super old and used, as clearly visible on the pictures attached. It felt like they have opened up a floor/hotel which wasn’t in use for several years and hasn’t been cleaned up at all
