I booked this hotel for 2 night through Hotels.com. We did the early check-in on my phone. When my husband went in to get our keys, there was a bunch of people just handing out on the lobby blaring loud music and having a jam session. They were all pretty loud. That was red flag number 1. We pulled around to the side of the building, by the pool to park, and saw a Hispanic man jumping the pool fence with a corona in his hand, get into his car and leave. That was red flag number 2. It was very strange and not to mention the pool had probably 7 kids in it. We went up to our room for about 5 minutes to gather our thoughts and process what we had just witnessed and decided to get another hotel all together. The kids and I went back to the car while my husband went to tell the manager, Jaronne, that the environment wasn’t for us and we didn’t feel safe leaving our car in their parking lot or having our kids in the pool since apparently anyone can just jump the fence and get in.
The pool is what my 3 kids were most excited about but after seeing this man jump the fence TWICE, drinking, drive off, then come back blasting loud extremely vulgar music with his car doors open was the final straw for us.
We still haven’t received our refund for either day when all we did was immediately turn around, return our keys, and leave.
