All staff we encountered were phenomenal!
We got a king suite with a pullout bed to accommodate an adult child. The first room they put us in was unkempt and dirty. Floors needed vacuumed, fingerprints from kids everywhere, pull out bed had trash and random things jammed in it, stands and tables were dusty, fridge and sink in suite, dirty and unclean as well. My fiance went to the front desk to complain and they immediately put us in another room. Next room in much better condition. Pullout bed has no linens provided, you have to ask for them. The suite was a little more private with a door that separated the king bedroom and pullout bed versus 2 beds in the same room.
The hotel itself is outdated and unfortunately if you're looking for a hotel that actually had a riverfront view, this is not the one for you. But the proximity to downtown and also the highway make it a really convenient location.
As others have mentioned, dont waste your time on the breakfast, there was nothing but bagels, half frozen donuts, bacon, concentrated juice, apples and oranges and a pathetic coffee bar. If I'd known how disappointing the breakfast was going to be, I would have opted to go to the Waffle House right next door.
Overall, our stay was sufficient for the quick overnight stay we had but overpriced for what it really wasn't.
