The best shopping in Clarke Quay and Riverside includes all the most popular malls in the area, as well as some more out-of-the way fashion boutiques and independent arts and crafts shops. The Clarke Quay and Riverside area is one of the most frequented tourist spots in the whole of the city – and for good reason.
Come nightfall, the city’s lights reflect magnificently in the picturesque series of quays, creating the perfect spot for some alfresco wining, dining and late night shopping. Although the area is more famed for its huge selection of restaurants, bars and clubs, there are plenty of malls and boutiques to keep even the most avid of shoppers happy.

With its bright red sign brilliantly lit up at night over the water’s edge, Riverside Point is hard to miss. The shopping centre is home to several independent stores as well as some better-known outlets selling everything from clothes, accessories, homeware and souvenirs.
Alongside a decent selection of shops, there’s also a great range of dining options, all set around a cute interactive water feature with jets of water that shoot up. The central atrium opens up allowing light to flood inside in the daytime and come night, and a variety of street performers entertain the crowds who flock here to both eat and shop.

Cross over the bridge from Riverside Point to Clarke Quay. From a busy commercial hub plied by stevedores, traders, fishermen and others in the 1800s, Clarke Quay has beautifully transformed its warehouses and godowns into a lively lifestyle and entertainment centre of restaurants, wine bars, entertainment spots and retail shops. Immerse yourself in the bustling market atmosphere of the old days as you saunter through quaint shophouses, pushcarts, and five-foot-way merchants.
Stop by the Royal Selangor Pewter Store for the latest pewter designs. Wander around the pushcarts selling unique pottery, jewellery, woodcraft and other knick-knacks. Although it’s better known for its dining and entertainment outlets, Clarke Quay is worth a visit if only for its friendly, colourful and festive atmosphere.
