But of sightseeing and sentimental trip. Lleida is not really a tourist place but it's special for me and I wanted to see a few meaningful places.
The hotel makes a good impression outside - it looks nice and modern. The reception hall and restaurant are also quite presentable. Further in gets a little bit old-style and worn. Lifts are a bit small and slow, but work fine. The floors look good. Rooms are spacious enough, with a comfy, but slightly squeeking beds. Walls aren't very thick so you can hear louder noises from other rooms. There are no electric kettles, which I found odd. I like the wordrobe and the flat screen TV, which got hardly used during my stay.
The bathroom looks nice overall, hit upon closer look you will notice signs of wear (marks in the basin and on floor tiles). This should be regularly checked and fixed. Also there seemed to be a problem with water. It smelled a bit (made my water bottle smell - that's how I know), also it wasn't easy to adjust temperature under the shower. It would either slowly adjust to really hot or remain cold. You had to have a lot of patience.
Restaurant, although nice, doesn't offer any other warm meals for breakfast than an omelette and some bacon. Definitely not enough for a 4 star hotel? The waiters don't really speak English (hardly anyone does there), so you have to bother reception (their English is great).
The parking is locked, but a bit small, with super narrow lane to navigate.
Overall happy with the stay though.
