To be perfectly clear I am unable to rate this property other than the communication which is ABSOLUTELY horrible.
Explanation: We were in Havana and leaving one casa to stay at the Casa Hanan Vieja. We made MULTIPLE attempts to contact the owner/property manager to get directions on the check in, both through Expedia and Whatsapp. We received no response. So, we decided to walk to the property to see if we could speak to someone. When we arrived, we were lucky to meet a person who also had a reservation and was waiting for a person to show up to check him in. When the check-in person arrived, we were told that they had double booked the room and our reservation wouldn't be honored. Obviously, my family was left without a place to stay for two nights. What makes this a horrible situation was that the owner of this property absolutely made no attempt to contact us ahead of our reserved dates. And obviously would not pick up on attempts to contact them. I would avoid this situation if possible.
