My wife and I stayed for two nights... unfortunately. We arrived and quickly learned that parking was $16/night... even when you paid for your hotel. That would have been good to know in advance. I would forewarn guests that parking can be very far from a door and shuttle bus worthy when there is an event taking place. Staff were not helpful and attempted to charge me the full value again, but I insisted they were wrong, and eventually they "figured it out" and blamed the third party. Great start. Needless to say, staff were less than friendly. The rooms were aged, water smelled like chlorine, poor shower water pressure, and water didn't drain in the shower..so after you were finished showering, you were standing in a foot of water (eventually drained). We had to try 3 ice machines before we found one that worked! Great for my steps...4 floors down every time we wanted ice. The hotel was not what we expected from a Hilton. Save your money and go elsewhere if you have options. My suggestion to the hotel...it needs some updating/cleaning (old stained brass for example) and please bake the parking costs into the room so there's no additional costs when your customers arrive!! When you ask if we have a car as your first question... of course we do...did we walk with all our suitcases? Alternatively, charge the surprise parking fee and offer valet parking. Never again...
