"The hotel is really nice, very clean with great staff. The room I had was a smaller room, but it was comfortable and suited my needs. The location is slightly out of the way from town, it was nice the hotel offered free bikes, it helped a lot. However, because it's not in the center of town, there is ample parking on the property and it's quieter overall."

"Staying in a gorgeous renovated Parador is a real treat. The history is incredible and to see these old buildings restored as boutique hotels is a wonderful idea. Car park was quite tight to turn into behind the Parador. Gorgeous old hilltop town to explore. Plenty of bars and eateries. Our room looked over the river with France on the other side and the marina. We’ll return for sure! "

"Stunning hotel with large, modern and quiet rooms. Very friendly staff. Very good food in the food hall. Right in the town centre close to shops, beach and restaurants. Only 2 min walk away from the train station. Absolutely perfect!"

"Everything was good, apart from the hair dryer, it was not functional, no electricity near the dryer to make it work as the hair dryer is fixed to the wall near the mirror. The telephone is not connected to the reception, no info at the arrival how to contact the reception service if any questions "

"Excellent location close to public transportation (bus, train etc), shopping and restaurants! Walkable distance to the beach, and nearby town Ciboure. No need for a car at all, we took buses to Bilbao, San Sebastián Spain. Little choice at the hotel breakfast (wish there were fresh fruit), but staff prepared scrambled or sunny side up eggs upon demand. Overall I will highly recommend this hotel. "

"Lovely hotel in the French countryside. Spacious room, very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Appreciated the balcony outside the room plus seated areas in the garden and patio with loungers for relaxing. Very tasty breakfast. Free onsite parking. Extremely helpful staff (apart from bar manager). Good onsite restaurant. Only 2km into town where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Good base for exploring the general area and close to canoeing and train de la Rhune. Couple of negatives. When I book a double room I expect to get a double bed not two singles pushed together - that's a twin room. Shower had no soapdish / shelf so nowhere to put products."

"Very convenient for arrival by bus from Biarritz airport. Very friendly and helpful staff at Reception and everything you need is provided for a self-catered stay. The studio apartment we booked for 4 people comprised a sofa bed and bunk beds but we hadn’t anticipated a sofa bed! It was ok, just not super comfy for sleeping on for 5 nights. Air conditioning was a real blessing! Overall great value for money!"

"The first room #16 was totally unacceptable with damp and mold settling around the vent. Not at all what we were expecting. After complaining we were upgraded to the largest room in the hotel which is what we thought we would get in the first place. The best part of the experience was meeting the chef, Olivier Lataste who created sumptuous meals for us. "

"We enjoyed our brief stay at Mosaik Hotel. We were welcomed by a lovely lady in Reception who helped us park our car, store our bikes and offered to help with any questions or information. Our family apartment was a good size, comfortable, clean and equipped as described. The air-con was much appreciated as it was very hot during our stay and the hotel location is ideal for shops, restaurants, transport and the beach. "
