Memorable high-quality stay

Staff made our anniversary celebration a memorable experience. Upon booking staff reached out to ask if we were celebrating a special occasion and if they could assist in any way. They went above and beyond and even have complimentary transportation to and from the Tren Maya station.

It's a beautiful, luxurious and new hotel near the Edznà ruins. The staff was very attentive and friendly. It has a beautiful pool that's long enough to swim in and the area around it is nice to relax. Also, very pretty rooms. Ours had a balcony and a pretty view over the surrounding jungle. Downside is the A/C, it works great but the fan works much too hard. There's only one position "bajo" (which means low) and that results in wind and plenty of noise. In the restaurant, I think it's best to stick to the Mexican options (don't order sushi). They do sell Mexican wine by the glass. The papaya I had in my fresh fruit dish for breakfast wasn't very ripe.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Edzna à l'hôtel Mundo Maya. L'hôtel est très récent et il est encore très calme. Le personnel est aux petits soins, et les chambres sont magnifiques et spacieuses. Nous étions en famille dans la "suite présidentielle" qui constitue 3 Chambres. La piscine est grande et chauffée, il y a une piscine pour les enfants qui est elle aussi chauffée. On a profité du service de massages et Norma est une masseuse incroyable. On a adoré aussi le restaurant qui propose plein de plats préparés avec soin. Les ruines si y à 10 minutes à pieds et on peut voir le haut de la plus grande pyramide depuis l'hôtel. Les points négatifs : il n'y a pas de service de laverie (ce qui serait pratique quand on voyage sur plusieurs semaines), ni de magasins pour quelques petites courses du quotidien aux alentours. Le plus proche est à Campeche. Mais à part ça, rien à dire, c'est parfait !

Wow! Mindy Maya Edzna is an absolutely stunning hotel — we’ve never seen anything so grand and beautifully designed. The service at arrival was very good; they transported us from the parking lot to the hotel with a cart for our luggage. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It was also quiet and cool thanks to the air conditioning, and everything was impeccably maintained. The pool area is lovely, with attentive service there as well. The only downside was the restaurant — the food was mediocre and overpriced compared to Western standards. Otherwise, this hotel is truly exceptional.
