Room was fine, I liked the kitchenette - great in particular to have a fridge and be able to heat up food. The problem for me was the bed. I had booked a twin-bedded room as my brother was meant to be sharing with me, but couldn't make it. However the single beds were extremely narrow. I am an average sized man but found it impossible to sleep as every time I turned over I nearly fell out! It would have been a nightmare for my brother who is 6ft tall and quite broad. This needs to be made clear when people are booking the room. The other issue was the bathroom - absolutely tiny, no room to manoeuvre at all. I found it quite problematic. Just about managed for one night. Apart from that the facilities were fine and the area was convenient with shops nearby.

The hotel was in a quiet side road near to Finsbury Park Tube Station - I would class it as a guest house rather than a hotel - there was no sign up and it blended in with the other houses on the road. There were plenty of shops nearby. The member of staff who registered us was efficient but not particularly friendly. The best feature of this hotel for me was by far the kitchenette which was very well equipped and a real bonus. Also a small table to eat at (though only 1 chair). I only wish more hotels had them. My room was perfectly functional - the bed was comfy, I appreciated the lighting (bedside lamps and a main light with a dimmer switch - excellent feature). However the lack of bedside tables was a bit annoying. This could be so easily and cheaply remedied. The shower room was very small - okay for one night but I'm a smallish woman - would not be great for a larger person. Shower was powerful and worked well. The room was clean (apart from one tiny issue in the shower room) and bed was comfy. TV was a good size and easy to manage. Heating system worked fine but was very noisy a couple of times in the night and woke me up. Apart from that the area was extremely quiet which I appreciated. All in all, for the price paid I thought it was very good value for money and would recommend for a short trip.

Very clean, on a quiet street with helpful staff. We had a lovely few days with a good nights sleep, no disturbances. Useful to have the staffed reception. Note the building has no sign outside so make sure you look at the photo to know which it is - No. 20.

Nice room to look at, clean, however, drain in the bathroom sink was backed up and bring up stuff that we hadn’t put down the drain… it also absolutely reeked. Also kept up through the night due to very thin walls and doors being slammed constantly. However if you can get past these things, it’s a really good location and a generally nice hotel, just definitely needs the sink fixing

I need a refund. I was unable to check in, I wasted much time and felt highly frustrated. I had rung the hotel on Friday (the day for which I had booked the room) at about 7.30 pm to ask what the latest check-in time was. A woman answered and told me: "Any time, the website says 10 pm but it's wrong, there will be someone to check you in whenever you come". I said this was good news and I'd be there at around 11 pm. In fact I turned up at about 10 to 11 pm (or maybe quarter to 11) - but found no-one at the hotel. I rang and rang the bell and could see the empty reception room. I then telephoned the hotel but there was no reply - just an answer machine. I waited about half an hour and still no-one. So I went to look for another hotel in the area, tried a few but they were all fully booked. Went back to the hotel and found a young man outside the front door, shouting at length on the phone to someone about wanting to get in. I thought he was another frustrated guest but it turned out eventually that he was a new receptionist on his first day on the job but could not get into the hotel either. He was totally unhelpful to me and had probably turned up too late on his first day. He gave me a bad impression, neither of us could get in anyway, so I left after midnight feeling pretty desperate. Eventually I did find another hotel for the night. I am 75 and was carrying a very heavy musical instrument for an important event early the next day. I wasn't happy! Please let me know how to

Room was clean with all amenities. Spacious and kitchentte was a big plus as we have a child and need to prepare for her meals like oats/milks. Location is also very nice. Near to all main locations to visit. Frequency of bus and metro is also very good.

El apartamento en si no estaba mal, está muy cerca del transporte (bus, tren y metro), dispone de muchas tiendas cerca y se encuentra en una calle residencial muy tranquila. Aún así, es un sitio al que le falta mantenimiento: paredes desconchadas, ventanas que acumulan agua en el alféizar por condensación de la habitación, horno que no funciona y sartén inservible. Éramos dos personas y había justo dos vasos, dos platos, dos cubiertos de cada... Estaría bien dotar la cocina con más cosas, y asegurarse que lo que hay está en buenas condiciones. El ultimo día, quisimos hacer el check-out y dejar las maletas, pero no había nadie en recepción por más de media hora. Estuvimos llamando a los teléfonos de contacto que constaban en los paneles informativos del hotel pero, o bien no contestaban o nos decían que no era el teléfono correcto. Sería de agradecer que se avisara a los huéspedes que si la puerta de recepción está cerrada, basta con llamar al timbre de la entrada para que venga alguna persona inmediatamente.

Electricité en panne le premier soir (pas de chauffage, pas d'eau chaude, de lumière..) Le chauffage a été en panne sur toute la durée du séjour. De plus, nous n'avions pas la cuisine fonctionnelle. Et bien entendu, aucun dédommagement de Hotels.com ou de l'hôtel directement.
