Pest infested, dirty, dishonest management
The house was infested by ants and baby roaches (saw those during the night). Our 2-year old daughter was screaming and refused to walk due to ants everywhere.
In addition, the property was poorly cleaned with long black hair could be seen in many places as well as dirt on floors and carpets and the pool itself. We of course immediately reached out to the property management to report these issues. While I was on the phone, I got bitten by ants even wearing shoes which caused excruciating pain and shock to say the least. At that point, I just wanted to get out of the house and find another place to stay.
Management agreed to refund us $125 for the inconvenience which we thought fair enough as well as to send the cleaners and a pests control personnel the next morning.
Terminex person arrived the following day evening and was also shocked to see such infestation of ants that were present even in the master bedroom upstairs. Cleaning team also arrived the next day just to be little useful as they were constantly asking were we want the cleaning to be done.
The worst part was that 3 days after our checkout, the company (Casiola) sent an email accusing us of damaging the inside and outside tables and requesting to pay more than $600. Casiola needs to get its facts right before accusing innocent guests about property condition.
We did not receive the promised refund from Knud (the property manager). Which shows how dishonest the company is.
