Spacious clean room, but those are the only positives, sadly. It's not 'family run', because it's not run by anybody: everything is done 'remotely'. We needed help and were directed to an AI chatbot, then had to send an email -- this was unanswered till the next day. The problem was that the shower was broken, along with two of the blinds. In a heatwave. We got no help at all.
Also, if you wish to use the fridge? €5 extra. Do you want a kettle? €5 a day, booked in advance, using your psychic skills presumably.
We saw no staff the whole stay until one lovely person who was running breakfast, check out and kitchen all at the same time.
We did see a building site in the hotel, where power tools were left lying around, and the elevators, fire escapes and entrances were blocked by people renovating a part of the hotel. Have you ever had to help someone lift a fridge through a doorway, so you can actually exit the building, only to have your return blocked by their car? Well, this is apparently the one service the hotel offers for free.
Additionally, during a heatwave, only providing duvets for guests seems a little thoughtless. But by this point, it was obvious there was nobody to ask anyway. Nor to pay our €5, presumably.
