This is an apartment in a sketchy residential neighborhood. No sign whatsoever. You receive video instructions on how to use your phone to get into the front door to the complex. It an app that unlocks the door, no key. Once inside you go to your apartment and do another swipe to unlock the door to the apartment but we couldn’t get the door to open. The handle just spun. We were trying forever and finally it caught and the door opened. The unit was nice and large no issues there but the next morning I go for coffee my friend is inside. When I return the same thing happened, the handle just spins and he can’t open the door from the inside. I’m stuck in the hallway and he’s locked inside for 30 minutes. We get some customer service guy from another country on the phone who was useless. We finally get it open and don’t close the door again until we leave. I’m sure the handle was broken as the inside knob just came right of the door.
I’ve never been so frustrated in trying to get access to a unit in my life. We are both intelligent people. This will happen over and over until the door handle gets fixed. Do yourself a favor and avoid this headache. Stay closer to the water. It’s much nicer there.
