I'll start by saying the staff are lovely, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, everything included you could wish for. However, the room we were put in (32) was situated at the back end of nowhere up and down stairs to get to with incomplete handrails and a spongy floor for my mum to tackle. A large step down in to our room. The carpet was loose between the bathroom and the room, causing my mum to trip but luckily not fall in the night, the floor was very uneven. Gaping hole between sockets in the wall and dreadful door repair. The toilets downstairs by the bar: cheaply painted doors with no handle, the toilet roll holder falling off, loose toilet seat, no actual buttons to press to flush and the rusty bin foot pedal was now just a metal prong no the pedal I assume it was broken off. Shuffle board, lack of sand and a piece of wood shoved down the side which was the broken piece from the end I'd assume. We love the Hilton chain but will most certainly not stay at this one again.
