The location is phenomenal for this hotel. The hotel unfortunately does not live up to this. Considered a historic site we were excited to see some of Banff’s history, but it is poorly maintained with seemingly little care to appearance or actually showing any history at all of Banff. The bedding was of poor quality and ill fitting to the bed. Of note we were aware that the hotel had no air conditioning prior to booking, but even with room temperature set to its lowest setting the room became incredibly warm through the night even on a -10c night. The front staff were helpful and welcoming.

バンフの目抜き通りの真ん中、MapleLeafというレストランに隣接したホテル。極めてロケーションに優れ、とにかく便利。一方で繁華街の中心で、通りでは遅くまで騒ぐ声が聞こえる。レセプションは必要十分なサービスを提供。設備はやや古く館内は薄暗いが、まずまず清潔で困ることはなかった。コーヒーメーカーあり。フロアに共用共用ケトル、アイスメーカー、電子レンジあり。

If you want to be downtown then the location is perfect. They also have free parking which is nice since finding parking is very difficult when it's busy season. I did not expect not to have air conditioner, the hotel was pretty hot even with fans in the room.

The only great thing about this hotel was the location. The price we paid was not worth it. Parking is completely separate. There needs to be a sign at the parking garage to make it less confusing. Or some sort of directions on how to get there. The front desk staff is not friendly. There was no smoke detector in our room but the cords were hanging down from the ceiling for one. It’s really just a place to sleep and that’s it. I feel like they can do so much better.

WARNING - do not stay here. This place is dismal and really should not be operating as a £250 a night hotel. It needs a total refurbishment, the carpets, furniture , bedding and bed, bathroom suites were not in a good state. The window couldn't be closed and the AC was not working. The front desk is not manned. The only good things were it was centrally located and parking (but not guaranteed). You have been warned !

It’s what you get for $400US/night in Banff… small room in an old building. No AC on an uncommonly hot day but the night was cool so at least we could open the windows. Finding the parking was a bit difficult, but at least we had a spot. We stayed 1 night then moved on to Golden.

Staff were nice & friendly. The room was very hot and without AC we could only open the window and it didn’t help very much. We stayed 2 nights and had both our room keys both stop working in the middle of our stay. We also found random pills under the bed. Great location, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Stay here only if all other hotels are booked. Rooms terribly small, very hot with no air conditioning and staff hit and miss at the counter. Waited for 20 minutes to check in because no one was at counter. It appeared they only had one person to check people in and clean the rooms??? Only plus, good location downtown. Way too much money for the place.
