Clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff. The window can be fully opened and the heating is quite strong. However, there was a smoke smell in the corridor and in the room. Not sure if it was from the previous guests. There was no fridge in the room, which could be quite useful

I've stayed at the Mercure a few times in the past as a traveling BMW employee, and was pleased to find as a leisure traveler it's retained its same good quality. It's a great location, clean, quiet and friendly. Breakfast buffet as it should be (loved the weisswurst!) My only complaint was the steep cost increase due to Oktoberfest. But I know all hotels in MUC gouge during the fest. Stay here when the fest is over.

Overall it was okay for the price. Munich is a very expensive city and the room was affordable. Schwabing is a cool neighborhood and it was fun to stay away from touristic areas and city center.

Great city break in Munich
We did not choose breakfast as there are cheaper options outside of the hotel, but obviously not a buffet.
The rooms were clean and comfy, with a kettle and teas available. No fridge, miss having one for storage as it was 35C.
Good location - 7 min walk from underground, but we walked daily into Marianplatz which took about 40 minutes. Close to the really beautiful English Gardens.

The location is very close to the centre of Munich so very suitable, and 5 minute walk to the closest underground station. Street parking was limited so we opted for the underground hotel parking which was quite expensive, but probably normal for hotel parking. We don't eat breakfast so I can't comment on that. I did find the bed a little too firm for my liking. I would have liked a small refrigerator in the room which they did not have.We are fans of the Accor Hotel chain.

We booked this hotel on short notice since our original hotel was not very nice. Very clean, spacious rooms and great, knowledgeable staff. Hotel is very close to train and bus stations. A little further away from Marienplatz but there was still a lot of shopping and places to eat close by.

Great location. rooms are very well insulated and quiet and don't hear the traffic noise. I struggled with the mattress quality as too soft for my liking. Bedding seems polyester what also didn't contribute to a good night sleep. I don't have an issue with large pump bottles in the bathroom but recognised here again that there are not well maintained.
Anyways, would recommend this.place to any traveller .

First time in Munich
Its important to know that a standard room faces a busy road. If you are a light sleeper , then it is worth paying the extra for a garden room which faces away from the road. The hotel is very near tram and bus stop.
The staff and customer service is friendly and polite.

This is a very quiet hotel if you get a courtyard room. The room was overly hot and we couldn’t regulate the thermostat. Breakfast is pretty good but I wouldn’t say it’s worth 20 euros.
