The Blackadder Hall Campus Accomodation is exactly what the name says: a university accomodation whose rooms reminded us a lot of a traditional campus accomodation. Positive points are the absolute friendliness of the staff, that helps whenever they can, the cleanliness of the rooms, the rich breakfast - full English and continental options are available - and the proximity to the old town. On the downside, the rooms are very basic and, most of all, the beds are a catastrophe. We changed rooms after spending the first night on a mattress that violates the Geneva conventions. The second room was a bit better but still far from good. There is a real need to exchange the mattresses to guarantee the guests a good night's sleep.
