My Experience of Holidaying with KTDC Tamarind was very nice. All staffs are very much co-operative and excellent in performance & service. I feel that all the resorts are excellent and value for money for all members. Especially Staffs of KTDC Tamarind are very dedicated and sincere. The atmosphere is so homely and we can never forget the wonderful experience we had at KTDC. We wish all success to the team of Tamarind KTDC. Best Regards,

Worst hotel to stay
Worst hotel I had ever been. I had made the booking through hotel.com, but the staff had no clue about the online booking. They had just pushed me to make the payment at the beginning eventhough I had already paid the amount by my credit card while I was booking online. The room was in worst condition. the tiles were broken and came off. The toilet seat was shaky while seating. and water gush outside the bowel while flushing to make big mess. All together it was a very bad night . It has spoiled all the fun and relax of a pilgrimage to Guruvayoor temple. My advise to everyone dont book any hotel belongs to KTDC

Not maintained Properly
It was not that good due to cleanness issue. The TV was not working and nobody there to attend. The staff is not trained to handle customer issues. Typical Govt attitude.

OK hotel for one day stay
average hotel. large rooms but the bathroom layout could be better. the area near the toilet commode is congested and the hand shower was defective. the electric socket provided was rickety and almost came off in my hand when i tried to remove my mobile charger. initially i had to hunt for the socket since it is tucked away behind the bed.

Being a busy season initially we did not have a confirmed reservation in Guruvayoor. Fortunately due to few cancellation i could get a room in this hotel. The staff at the reception, i think his name is Mr Sivan, were really helpful and went out of their way in making our stay comfortable. As i was travelling with my infant daughter they were even kind enough to make a dosa and get some curd specially for my kid even though there is no in house dining facilities at the hotel. Check in as well as check out was pretty smooth. Rooms were well maintained and clean. It does give the impression of a hotel slowly on path of neglect but good staff and its location makes up to an extent. Its 5 minute walk from the temple and near Guruvayoor railway station.

Room service is very poor, regular power failure and no power back up. Leaking and seepage on bathroom walls and no proper locks on doors from inside as well as out side.
