To begin with, the check‑in instructions were incorrect — the access codes I received didn’t work, and I had to call multiple times before I could get into the unit, which is accessed through a parking lot and across some bushes. Once inside, the reality was a complete shock: the space looked nothing like the photos. There was a strong, moldy smell, the cups in the cupboard were visibly dirty, and a large cockroach was wandering around the unit.
I barely slept — on the first night there were people shouting and fighting nearby, and on the second night the occupants above were extremely noisy so again no sleep. The unit offers no sound insulation whatsoever, so I could hear every sound from all directions. After more than 15 years of traveling around the world, this is without a doubt the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. It shouldn’t even be listed on this platform.
