This property is just okay...we checked in, took one look at the room, came back on Expedia, booked another room and left the key on the counter, all within 10 minutes of arriving at the "hotel". This place is very misrepresented on Expedia and it is cute and serene, but not for us. Upon walking in, it's a cute, cozy "living room" with a fireplace and the guy that checked us in was friendly (and shoeless...odd...). He personally walked us up to our room and told us about dinner. Dinner is one price, one dish (vegan) and he said it's "chef choice", no menu and no options. We weren't interested so didn't ask for any further details but based on other reviews, it's only between 7-8pm, everyone eats together. Anyways...the room is tiny, literally just fits one queen bed and the built in fireplace. The bedding smelled musty and the mattress felt like a stack of hay. There were no little supplies such as shampoo or soap bars and worst of all (in my opinion and not clearly advertised)....NO TV!!!! For some, this is okay but for us, that's our relaxation. We were traveling without kids and wanted to put on whatever we wanted....no Disney or Nick Jr and actually enjoy it. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the people below us' conversation! We were super uncomfortable and I just knew within 30 seconds that I couldn't stay there. We booked another hotel 20 minutes away and left the key on the counter. Make sure this place is for you before booking! They will not give a refund!

It supposed to be a very close comfortable stay, but it turned out as a worse place we have ever stayed. First of all they gave us a dirty room. When I say dirty, it means that the room wasn't prepared at all for stay. After our complain they apologized politely and changed the room. The overall problem of this place is that they are very unorganized! In both rooms there were no shampoo, conditioners, even no soap! The room was cold, something didn't work, and we weren't provided with blanket until we asked. Instead of liquid soap there was only water! As it was presented in some site that they have a continental breakfast, but it turned out that they have the only vegan breakfast. The day we wanted to try it, nobody in the morning was in the kitchen to help us with that and we just went to resort that located 5 minutes away. And the last but not least is absolutely "no walls" between rooms. You could hear even if somebody is farting. And I'm not kidding here. We could not sleep for the all time we stayed there, because someone was talking, someone was listening to the music, etc. You could hear EVERYTHING! Overall, I don't recommend this place to anyone even though the staff was pleasant.

Cozy and serene. Staff was friendly laid back and honest! We left a wallet and they called immediately to try and send it to us. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. It’s not a Hilton so don’t compare, more like a bed and breakfast. If u stay on the first floor you can hear footsteps but we are early risers. We stayed overnight and didn’t eat there. Very close to Bolton Ski resort (less than a mile).

Hotel from Hell
No one around to chech in with. Had to go into kitchen. Walls between rooms were like paper. We had a young child in the room and we could hear X rated things going on. Last night heat went out in our room. Temp. outside was 17 degrees. We were told we could get on a ski trail from the hotel. But not true. Hot tub broken and no TV anywhere in the hotel. Rooms not cleaned daily.

Needs work
This place is rustic for sure and in need of some maintenance. Our deck was full of 3 feet of snow which rendered it un usable and the ice damns on the overhang of the roof above the deck were concerning. The bed was hard and the comforter was clearly a queen and did not fit on the king size mattress. The floors in the communal living space were unswept and the plants were in desperate need of watering and pruning. The coffee and cold and hot water in the lobby were constantly out and the innkeeper kept complaining about how much coffee the guests were going through. The sauna took 45 mins to warm up and even then it wasn't hot and the hot tub didn't work. It also was advertised as a ski in and ski out lodge which it was not. We had to hike up a path covered in 3 ft of snow to get to a run that would take us down to a base lodge. The staff were all very nice but the place needs to be better cared for and should update it's offerings online to reflect an accurate representation.

Location, calm and comfortable vibe. Ski in and Ski out location. Staff is friendly, helpful and around most of the time. It is not a traditional hotel experience, but that is why its so great. A large comfortable fireplace and each room with a gas fire place, you are guaranteed to stay warm after riding the lifts. Relax and enjoy the mountain life.

Nice place
We were surprised when we first got there and realized it was a wellness center! It was such a nice place to stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice he showed us around and they have quite a nice place. The only thing I didn’t like was there were young people sitting in the parking lot with a table Se up talking which was ok but they were cussing loudly and I had a 10 year old with me. I would return! Thank you

We arrived approximately 7:00pm and was told room was not ready for us although check in was advertised starting at 3:00pm. Waited at least a half hour from time of arrival to being able to occupy room. Doors and walls have little or no sound abating characteristics so you can hear other guests in adjacent rooms and hallways

Good points : everyone was friendly and welcoming. Jacuzzi was great! Points of improvement : we arrived to check in, and were told there was a spiritual ceremony going on and if we could wait to check in for "a few minutes". We were offered free kombucha for the trouble which was nice. But while waiting and drinking our kombucha, the people from front desk responsible for checking us in walked right by, said they were still doing the ceremony and were just grabbing some supplies, and didn't take a couple min to just give us our room key and check us in real quick! We ended up going on a walk instead and it wasn't too big of a deal but this isn't exactly great customer service. In addition, we were charged 2 desserts on our room bill, but we only ordered one. Carpet seemed a bit dirty as well but the bed was great and comfortable. The biggest disappointment was that we thought we would get a direct view of the mountains from our window, but unfortunately it didn't look like the online photos described it. It's still in a beautiful area but not like we imagined it would be. Generally an okay place to stay and a good retreat to recharge.
