Never had an experience like this before. Check in was fine until I went up to the room to find that the room details I booked through Hotels.com didn’t match what was given. Supposed to have a king with a queen pullout. There was no pullout, no other available rooms, and no working ice machines throughout hotel. Room was subpar clean. After a couple of weeks of persistence trying get a hold of someone, Hawthorn management said nothing they could do since it was booked through Hotels.com nobody has returned my call/email from Hotels.com either. Somebody dropped the ball big time on this scenario. Hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Highly disappointed!
