I have been staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou for at least 10 years, and I usually book an executive room to enjoy the breakfast at the executive floor. However, during my recent stay, I was disappointed to find that this service was no longer available, and there was no prior information about this change at the time of booking.
The most significant issue I faced was the WiFi connection. It was terrible, with either no connection or a very poor one. I had to reconnect constantly, and if my screen went blank, the connection was lost. As someone who relies on a decent WiFi connection to work, this was a major inconvenience.
Overall, my recent experience was quite disappointing, especially considering my long history with this hotel. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the experience for future guests.
