The hotel itself has a beautiful location with three pools, plenty of free offerings for activities (snorkeling, boats, stand-up-paddeling etc.). You can either relax at the pool or the beach. The beach is located in a cozy bay shared with some other hotels. The rooms are spacey and integrated in the big garden.
To me the most outstanding thing about the hotel is the staff. People there are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the team from the sports village, who made the stay special, especially Amjad, who took plenty of time to help me rehab my shoulder after I aggravated my shoulder while playing beach volleyball. Another special thanks goes to Sharda, who did our housekeeping.
The only thing that needs improvement to me is the food situation. Breakfast is good, plenty of options here, so everybody will be fine. But for dinner, there are at least eight or nine different restaurants. Very good is Kot Nou restaurant, which features traditional Mauritian cuisine and which we discovered far too late. We would have been there every night otherwise. Also very good is Lime restaurant, which features east asian cuisine. But they have the same strict menu every night, so it is not for everybody... The other restaurants, well, though you might easily spend about 40 € p.P. on the food alone, you don´t quite get anything really yummie for it. Meat will be very chewy. Other things aren´t great either. Management should try to improve here.
