Walking distance to UT campus and Moody Center
We wanted somewhere walking distance to the Moody Center and this was fine, about a 15-20 minute walk. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good for the price, with big tacos for like $5.

Lousy value for the money!
Stay here because you want to be close to UT, not because it is a great hotel! Valet was horrible--broken link to request your car, incompetent staff. My room was dirty upon arrival and housekeeping did not show up for 30 hours, posted times for rooftop bar to be open were wrong, so the rooftop was not a place to bring my friends. A bad value for my stay. Very disappointing!

Valet is very expensive. The parking garage is about 1.5 blocks away but it locks up on the weekend so you have to call and get buzzed in, not a huge deal if you know. Staff at this hotel is great. Make sure to stop into Arturos across the street and get lunch, great sandwiches..!
