Beach stay
Cute vintage hotel near the boardwalk. Of course not as comfortable as the big hotels but that’s the nature of these types of accommodations. Staff was friendly and tried to please

We only stayed one night but we enjoyed it. Easy check in, bed was on the firmer side but that's how I like my bed, the parking lot is small but we were able to get a spot. You can't have high standards when you're getting a place at a low price compared to other places so we were satisfied with our stay.

If a room is just a place to sleep watch a little TV this is the place for you it's one block from the boardwalk the price is unbeatable in an extortic hotel which is 100 years old the money you save can be spent on dining and going to the outlets which I did

Efficiency and Convenience
AS far as convenience to the boardwalk I give this an A+. The house is as one would expect for the cost. Small efficiency room nothing special but if your going for just one night it is as one should expect. Suggestion is to bring sheets and your own towel especially if you are worried about cross over. Room appeared clean was quiet, AC worked, and TV worked. Smell was a bit musty but for an older place also expected this. This place is good for a couple or a solo person on a budget. Lets just say I wouldn't bring kids here.

Worst experience ever!
For the amount charged, the room looked like a closet! The shower looked as if it were outdoors and the bed had sand on it which made me question if the bedding was even changed!! No microwave, no central air, no one at the front desk 24 hrs a day. The worst experience EVER!

The building was very old. There were not enough parking spots and the man who checked me in said there was overflow parking nearby but I couldn't find it after circling around 3 times. They charge $15 to park.I was on the 3rd floor with a super narrow staircase and no elevator, so I went thru my suitcase and grabbed toiletries and threw a few things into a bag light enough to haul up to the 3rd floor. The lock on the door was a numbered electric combination, and I had a hard time locking it from the outside when leaving the room. Once in the room, the AC was already on and fairly newer, so the temp was very comfortable. There were no shades or blackout curtains, just very thin material on the windows facing the street, so I felt like I had to turn the lights off to get changed. Everything was very worn and old. The toilet was super low to the ground and there was no bar or anything to hold on to, to lower myself down. I recently recovered from a broken pelvis so the trek up all the stairs, the lack of any safety bars to hold on to just to use the toilet or the shower, which was VERY worn, made me a little nervous. The pillows had yellowed pillowcases that smelled like they hadn't been changed, and the pillows themselves were thin, old, and worn into little squares. (I travel with my own pillows, thankfully). They did have wifi. The one plug there, looked like a fire hazard. Overall, not absolutely filthy, but shabby and nowhere I'd stay again.

Wasn’t a bad stay, staff was nice and the place wasn’t very far from beach. Although it would be nice if the shower had better pressure and if there was more airflow for the bathroom.

Beware that the codes to get into each room doesn’t not get changed after each stay. We had trouble getting into our room and a random gentleman asked if we needed help locking our door and he proceeded to punch in “our code” to our room. We were speechless. When I expressed my concern to the front desk, he said that gentleman has stayed in that room before, so he knows the code. The paid parking you purchase is in another motels lot 3 blocks away. There is only one outlet for the tiny room and in that was a multiple plug that was used for a window air conditioning unit, the mini frig, a light, the Roku and the TV. We unplugged the light and TV, so we could charge our phones. I know that I reserved a room that wasn’t going to be 5 stars but my concern was the overall safety of the motel.

Did not like staying here tv didn’t work the room was way too small for a queen size bed and you have to pay an extra $15 to park in the parking lot or you have free parking along the road a block away if there is any spots open only good thing was it was really close to the beach

The room was so small, bathroom was gross, no fan, and only gave one towel to use, bed wasn’t even a real bed and pillows were flat. Air conditioning didn’t work right, had two windows but only one had a blind on it and was broke. Had to pay$15.00 to park in their lot or had to find parking on the street. All around gross, dirty place!
