Good location and dog friendly rooms.
Good location for travelling to/from Santander ferry, dog friendly too.Reasonable menu del dia, one very hard pillow on the bed is very un comfortable, really need a softer one aswell. No spare in wardrobe . Did not have a good sleep after our long drive.
Take your own teabags, theirs are awful.

Excellent hotel, lovely town
Nice 5 min walk to centre of old town. We didn't intend to eat at the hotel but the menu and price was so good we ate at hotel, very good meal. There was the option to pay €7 for secure parking but the open air car park seemed safe enough. We will stay here again

Excellent for an overnight stay
Hotel Alisa is a no frills hotel which is perfect for an overnight stop. I had a meal and breakfast in the bar which was absolutely perfect and very reasonably priced. All the staff from the reception to the bar staff are welcoming and friendly

Friendly hotel with good restaurant and bar, both serving food. Comfortable spacious, and immaculately clean bedroom, same standard of cleanliness throughout. Conveniently located just off the A1 Burgos to Madrid motorway, but only a short walk or drive from the attractive centre of historic Lerma.

Great hotel for a very affordable price.
Perfect for one or two nights. Traditional Spanish older hotel. Very clean and well-functioning. Dog friendly hotel (but not allowed in the restaurant). Very good location, walkable to town center. Lots of free parking.

Hotel alisa
First time here and was happy with things. The menu both in the bar and main restaurant may not be to every english visitors liking, but there are a few of the usual favourites that most brits are ok with. We will stop here again as we regularly travel santander to costa del sol, and need to have several overnight places that we can call upon.

Rooms are large and comfortable. Quirky use of antiques makes it an interesting place to see. There is a lack of electrical sockets in the bedroom, none by the bedside tables. No tea and coffee facilities in the room .

No good
Very outdated room, Gaps in skirting boards For potential insects to come in…. Flooring was warped. I take it due to pets….. Smell of sewage in downstairs Room…
Food in restaurant was okay but Service didn’t start service till 8:30 pm And we wanted to go and see the sites didn’t leave the hotel till 10 pm.
Unfortunately, didn’t take any photos of the Room…..
Plus, when we arrived at the hotel about 3:30 pm, there was three coach loads of children arriving for meet ups, Very noisy

A dowager duchess who is fading.
We have stayed at the Alisa several times previously and I am afraid it is declining over the last few visits. The only friendly person was our superb waiter at our evening meal. The rest of the staff were just uninterested. The rooms need a complete refurb. Duvets are needed instead of the very thick blanket and the even heavier throw. Bathrooms also need an overhaul.
Now to the worse aspect, the food. We hoped for an improvement and booked half board but the evening meal was abismal from an un chewable veal chop to, the choice of most of us, 2 fried eggs and chips. While it was edible it is not an expected meal for a restaurant. As I mentioned previously the waiter was a star it was a shame he could not serve us better food.
Lastly. We have just received a communication from the hotel which might say we have been overcharged of wine. Then again, it might be we were undercharged. Who knows.

Overnight stay in Lerma
We’ve stayed here several times en route to Santander as it is ideally situated only 3 hrs from the Ferry.
The hotel accommodation is tired & in need of an upgrade, & our room on this occasion was particularly tatty. Firstly the bedroom door wouldn’t open with the key despite jiggling & pulling & pushing whilst turning the key, so we had to return to reception & the staff member kindly assisted. Even she found it difficult but at least got it open. There was a loose floor tile in the entrance to the bathroom which moved & creaked when stood on. There was fluff on the bedroom laminate floor, & small spiders & cobwebs on the walls above the bed.
We had the menu del noche in the restaurant, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience due to an excessive amount of flies invading the table whilst we were eating, even to the point of landing on the food we were putting in our mouth. There seemed to be nothing in place to deal with this problem e.g fly traps, electronic zappers etc. We won’t be eating or staying here again during the summer months.
