This is the very definition, of a bed in a room, I reckon, most modern prisons are more inviting.
The location was convient due to an event on the outskirts of London, it was cheap, but not so cheap I had 0 expectations.
The chap who welcomed us in was nice enough, but the reception was a dark, gutted out pub floor with limited lighting and junk furniture scattered around. There was nothing inviting about the room, which barely fit the bed in. most of the plug sockets either didn't work or weren't attached. The TV had no signal and rendered pointless. We were treated to two of the thinest pillows possible, and lay on a cheap matress.
The worst part was the thin walls and loud noises at all times of the night, what felt like a tin can became an echo of all the conversations had by the owners? and their friends in the lobby all night.
To top of our questionable stay, when leaving, my partner was requested to "come here" by an older gentleman, when she refused to entertain the idea she was asked again and again, being told "i want to give you something", most unproffessional and frankly disturbing.
