Love the stay, and the pub.
I've sit here before and I really do love this place. In general it hits all the right notes and is very affordably priced. The continental breakfast is not amazing, and it's not expensive, but it certainly serviceable. I think my biggest disappointment with this stay and the reason that it didn't get five stars was my experience in the bar. They have a charming, charming bar on site. This pub is a place where I've gone many times and enjoyed a good drink and a nice cozy atmosphere. It really is a gem nestled into a heavily tourist trap infested area. This quiet little pub sits inside the resort and services resort guests and anybody from the outside who happens to know it's there. This time around the person behind the bar really didn't know what they were doing. They didn't know how to make drinks. They tried, but it was almost as if somebody from front desk or housekeeping was looking for extra hours and they needed coverage in the bar. It was not run the way that I'm used to and that left me disappointed. overall I would return here again and plan on it the next time I'm in the area. I'm just hoping that my experience at the pub is a better one because it is well worth checking out.

A nice winter getaway
We enjoyed our stay at Bayside Resort for a one day getaway. The room was clean and comfortable. There were tons of towels for the bath and the pool. We liked the hot tub and the pool. The breakfast had good options and was filling. We had a drink at the bar. It was a little confusing on the website whether or not they had food. On clarification, they had options to order out food. The bar area was small. I'm not sure I loved the dollar bills all over the place. I feel like putting them on one wall would have been sufficient. It was a bit overwhelming. The bartender was friendly and had a good pour but had trouble with the free drink ticket and the use of apple pay. We look forward to coming back again.

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times for our anniversary weekend. It’s always been a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean and in good shape throughout which is something my wife and i appreciate about this hotel and makes us want to come back. The outdoor sitting area with fire pits in the back is relaxing and the daily breakfast is satisfying. It’s close to Main St and all the eateries, plus close to the water ferries. All around we love the place for our weekend anniversary stays! Will continue to come :-)
