I booked this hotel through a third-party site and had a bit of a frustrating experience with pre-payment. The staff called me five times to confirm my stay and process the payment. I explained multiple times that I planned to pay with a different card upon arrival, and they acknowledged this, but my credit card was still charged anyway.
Check-in was smooth, which was a plus! However, as soon as we walked into the room, my family started experiencing allergies for some reason. Unfortunately, we also found a couple of small cockroaches in the restroom and kitchen, along with leftover food from the previous guests. (I’ll upload pictures if there’s an option.)
Property needs to be fumigated.
The restrooms have no ventilation. Also, double-check your windows—ours didn’t lock properly, and the manual screw lock had been removed, so I had to secure it myself.
The hotel was quite noisy, though that may have been because we were near the front lobby. A nearby pet barking at every noise or passerby didn’t help much with getting a peaceful stay.
One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was breakfast was offered, but it turned out to be very minimal. It’s truly a “grab-and-go” option with just coffee, oatmeal, hot water, and chocolate or blueberry muffins. Definitely not a full breakfast, so keep that in mind when booking.
