Beautiful hotel, excellent location. We came here to celebrate my birthday and skate on the Rideau canal. The canal is only a 2 minute walk. Great restaurants nearby. We had a great stay.

Valet parking was very convenient. Check in was quick and easy. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable. The lighting in our room was excellent. I love a room with multiple bright lighting options. Check out was also quick and easy. Looking forward to our next visit to Ottawa and the Lord Elgin Hotel.

If you are driving a truck, it is a gamble for parking at all. We were sent to city hall. Side lot was full and were too big for underground. Make a reservation if you want to go to restaurant. Couldnt get in for dinner without one when we got there. Made one for breakfast just in case and didnt need it. Pool was nice. Hot tub and sauna were good.
